Part 2: What is a RESOLVED Leader? We defined a RESOLVED Leader last week. So let's look at what "leadership" is at its core. The dictionary isn't very helpful. So we can't go there. It is NOT the difference in "leading vs. managing." That narrow view of what a leader is just doesn't work. Trying to define a leader or manager by a set of "things you do or say" is not accurate. Good leaders are always leading people and managing "things." We do both, constantly and persistently, if we are truly leading. So we created our own functional and operational definition at RLS. We spend a lot of time with our students in our Leadership Academy discussing the importance of the three key concepts embedded in our definition. Check it out in this week's NTS below.
