Perspective Matters.... As leaders, our initial reaction to any situation can set the tone for a growth opportunity or a setback in our influence. As experienced leaders, our wider perspective is important to put issues into proper context, priority, and severity. To people in early stages of development, who need coaching, everything is "big stuff." Don't minimize this "big stuff." By the same token, big things may appear small to someone based on their lower level of experience. Perspective allows us to properly position situations. Be intentional about your reaction and response.
