Allowing Others to Give Their Best (credit to the book: Having a Catch) Our last Academy session was focused on key things we can do as leaders to create an environment and personal connection that will allow others to give their best. We can't "get" people to do anything...but rather we can inspire and connect so they desire to do so. Motivate don't manipulate. To do this we must start with intimacy. We shy away from this word thinking it means something different that it truly does. It simply drives us to get to know the person first. They are more important than the skill or the task.
